A simpler way to watch
BT has launched BT TV, aiming to reduce the time people spend jumping between apps. The service combines live channels, catch-up and streaming in one place, with the option to record more than 600 hours on the Pro box. Viewers can also add a second box for multi-room use.
Content choices on offer
Packages include NOW channels for Sky Sports and Sky Cinema, plus TNT Sports and Netflix. BT broadband customers get three months of Apple TV+ included. Entertainment packs cover Sky Originals and HBO shows, and customers can switch between options month to month.
Two boxes, different needs
The BT TV Box Pro supports pausing, rewinding and heavy recording. The BT TV Box Edge focuses on straightforward streaming. Both work with a unified search and Watch List feature so saved shows are ready when you sit down.
Who this suits
The launch completes BT's broadband, mobile and TV line-up. It targets households already with BT broadband who want fewer log-ins and the ability to change packages quickly. Full details and current pricing sit on the provider's site, and you can compare BT TV deals alongside other providers on our TV section.
