EDF Brings in Wadi for Targeted Help
EDF Small Business has teamed up with Wadi so owners can see how their energy spend stacks up against similar firms. More than 450 businesses have already run the check, covering £1.5 million in annual bills across hotels, care homes, warehouses and shops.
Three Moments When the Check Lands Best
The campaign pushes the tool at Direct Debit rises, when payment trouble appears, and at contract renewal. At each point the short questionnaire shows industry comparisons, flags obvious waste and lists simple next steps without long forms or expert knowledge.
Average Savings and Sector Differences
Businesses that entered their figures could cut around 15 % of yearly costs, or more than £800 on average. Restaurants and cafés came out at £1,594 potential saving, while hotels reached £1,875. Those numbers depend on acting on the suggestions the check produces.
