Kaspersky Brings AI Summaries and Flexible Integrations to Threat Intel Portal

The update targets SOC teams facing alert overload, with one-click summaries and easier AI tool connections.

AI Cuts Review Time for Analysts

We’ve seen how SOC teams often drown in thousands of daily alerts while attackers move faster thanks to their own AI tools. Kaspersky’s latest Threat Intelligence Portal update tackles this directly with AI summarisation that turns long reports and hundreds of IoCs into short, clear overviews at the click of a button. The feature also works on OSINT searches, helping analysts prioritise what actually needs deeper investigation.

Built on more than 25 petabytes of proprietary threat data, the summaries keep key context while reducing the workload for both junior and senior staff.

MCP Support for Third-Party AI Tools

A new Model Context Protocol connection lets organisations link their own or external AI applications straight to the portal. Unlike traditional rigid APIs, this setup allows flexible, on-demand queries so AI models can pull fresh threat context exactly when needed.

Quote and Access Details

“Kaspersky's Threat Intelligence portfolio has long been recognised for the exceptional quality and coverage of its data. For nearly 30 years, we have built a robust foundation of elite intelligence, extensively leveraging AI and machine learning to collect and classify threat data. Today, our focus is on unlocking its full potential for all our customers. The primary opportunity we bring with new AI features is to reduce the time between receiving information and understanding how to act on it. Ultimately, these capabilities will maximise the efficiency of corporate threat intelligence investments, saving teams hours of complex analysis and significantly enhancing the accuracy of security workflows,” says Alexander Mazikin, Head of Threat Intelligence Product Line at Kaspersky.

Existing Threat Lookup licence holders can use the new features immediately, with extra request volume available to buy if needed. This sits alongside Kaspersky’s recent research on cheap darknet DDoS services we covered here. For broader VPN options and comparisons, see our VPN section.
