Connect Fibre has added Fibre5000 to its line-up, offering symmetrical speeds up to 5,000 Mbps. The package targets households and small businesses juggling multiple 4K or 8K streams, cloud backups, online gaming and home working at the same time. It comes with a TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 Pro router to help customers get the full benefit of the connection.
Pricing and Contract
New residential customers can sign up from £44.99 a month on a 24-month fixed term. Existing customers on the network can upgrade to the same deal. One Touch Switch is available for anyone moving from another provider. The price is fixed for the full term, so there are no mid-contract rises to watch for.

The launch adds another high-speed option for homes that already have access to full fibre, though the £44.99 starting price sits above many standard gigabit deals currently on the market.
