Sky's Latest Horror Play
Sky has released the first trailer for Crystal Lake, an A24-produced prequel series set in the Friday the 13th universe. The eight-part show follows Pam Voorhees, played by Linda Cardellini, as she deals with the aftermath of her son Jason's drowning and faces questions from strangers about her past. It blends psychological suspense with the franchise's established mythology.
Cast and Creative Team
Alongside Cardellini the cast includes William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins and Gwendolyn Sundstrom. Brad Caleb Kane created, wrote and showruns the series, with executive producers including original Friday the 13th writer Victor Miller and A24. Sky acquired the UK and Ireland rights through its acquisitions team.
When and Where to Watch
The series arrives exclusively on Sky and the NOW streaming service in October. No exact date has been confirmed yet, so viewers will need to keep an eye on Sky's listings closer to launch.
