Big new solar site coming to Oxfordshire
Low Carbon plans a 500MW solar and storage park in West Oxfordshire. The scheme qualifies as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project and forms part of the government's target to reach 45-47GW of solar capacity by 2030, up from 18GW in 2025. Ed Perrin, development director at Low Carbon, said the project will supply clean, home-grown renewable power.
