What SuperMobile actually delivers
VodafoneThree has launched SuperMobile on its 5G+ network, giving customers a dedicated FastTrack lane that stays faster even when the network is busy. The plan offers up to 4x the speeds of standard Vodafone plans in high-demand areas, plus the UK’s first guaranteed minimum download speed of 15 Mbps in 5G+ coverage. If speeds drop below that, customers can leave without paying an exit fee. Advanced 5G+ encryption and Secure Net Mobile protection against malware, scams and unwanted content come built in at no extra cost.
How much extra it costs
Existing contract customers can add SuperMobile for £3 a month on top of full-speed Xtra plans, £8 more on SIM-only 100 Mbps deals or £4 more on handset 100 Mbps plans. A rolling monthly add-on is available for £12. Small businesses with up to nine employees can also sign up, while larger firms get tailored enterprise slices. The service works on compatible phones and is automatically active once you’re on a qualifying plan.
Vodafone TV arrives in October
From next month the operator is also launching Vodafone TV, a single hub that pulls together live channels, Netflix, HBO Max, Freely, 300-plus games and apps without needing a dish or aerial. A companion app lets you start watching at home and carry on over mobile. The service is open to anyone with a Vodafone home broadband, 5G Broadband or mobile plan.
Network progress so far
Just over a year after the merger, VodafoneThree says it has removed 16,500 km² of not-spots and lifted 5G+ population coverage from 46 % to 60 %, on track for 99.96 % by 2034.
