Faster lane when it counts
Vodafone has launched SuperMobile, a new pay-monthly tier that gives customers a dedicated slice of its 5G+ network. The service runs on what the operator calls 5G+ FastTrack and claims speeds up to four times faster than its standard plans in busy spots. It is available now on both SIM-only and handset deals, as well as to small businesses with one to nine staff.
The guarantees that matter
The headline feature is a minimum 15 Mbps download speed whenever you are in 5G+ coverage. If Vodafone cannot deliver that and cannot fix it within 30 days, you can leave the airtime plan without paying an exit fee. Every SuperMobile plan also includes Secure Net Mobile at no extra cost, which blocks malware, phishing sites and scam calls, plus the stronger encryption that comes with 5G Standalone.
What you actually pay
The add-on costs £3 a month more than Vodafone’s full-speed Xtra plans, or £8 extra on SIM-only 100 Mbps plans and £4 on handset versions. It can also be taken as a rolling monthly bolt-on for £12. The service works on compatible phones and automatically activates when you connect to 5G+ FastTrack.
How it compares
EE recently rolled out its own 5G+ fast lane for peak times, so Vodafone is not the first to offer network prioritisation. EE’s version focuses on crowded events and stations too.
