Live channels plus cloud gaming
Community Fibre has launched a TV service that combines more than 200 live channels, major streaming apps and over 300 cloud games. The package starts at £12 a month and includes a wireless gamepad so households can play without buying a console. Games run through the cloud, removing downloads or updates.
The service arrives via a compact Netgem PLEIO 4K puck that connects over WiFi to any HDMI television. No aerial or satellite dish is needed. Viewers can restart supported live shows from the start on Freely channels and pause live TV for up to 15 minutes.
What the bundle includes
- More than 200 live channels including Freely
- Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+ and HBO Max via existing subscriptions
- Universal Search and voice control
- Unlimited cloud gaming with multiplayer support
- Pause and restart on live programmes
Peter Rampling, Chief Commercial Officer at Community Fibre, said: "As the clocks go back and families prepare for the half-term break, people naturally spend more time at home looking for quality entertainment they can enjoy together. Whether you're using that extra hour to start a new boxset, catch up on live TV or try out a new game, Community Fibre TV brings everything together in one place.
"Customers can move from live TV or their favourite streaming service to more than 300 cloud games simply by putting down the remote and picking up the gamepad. There is no console to buy, no aerial to install and no complicated setup. At just £12 per month, Community Fibre TV can help households stay entertained without stretching the budget."
Bundle and comparison
The provider also offers a Home Bundle that pairs 1 Gbps broadband, TV and calls for £40 a month. Existing customers can add unlimited mobile data for £15 on a rolling contract. BT recently launched a similar live-TV and streaming box for its broadband customers. You can compare the latest TV options on our TV hub.
