Vodafone 5G Broadband Expands to Another 3.7 Million Homes

We look at the new option that could give you full-fibre-like speeds without waiting for cables.

29 July 2026 · Daniel Hartley · Vodafone

Faster speeds for more households

Vodafone has just added 5G Broadband to its line-up, bringing full-fibre-like speeds to an extra 3.7 million homes that currently miss out on full fibre. Combined with its existing full-fibre network, the provider can now reach over 26 million homes – more than any other UK provider.

The service runs on VodafoneThree’s growing 5G network and needs no engineer visit or landline. You just plug in the Power Hub router and go, with next-day delivery available if you order in time.

What you get

  • Speeds up to 150 Mbps (around three times faster than a typical part-fibre line)
  • Unlimited data on every plan
  • Choice of 30-day rolling or 24-month contracts
  • Prices from £21 a month (24-month, 50 Mbps) or £30 a month (30-day, 50 Mbps)
  • £2 monthly discount for existing Vodafone mobile customers via Vodafone Together

A new postcode checker on Vodafone’s site shows whether full fibre or 5G Broadband is the faster option at your address.

Rob Winterschladen, Consumer Director at VodafoneThree says: “Millions of households are still paying over the odds for unreliable and slow broadband that often only reaches 74Mbps. With Vodafone 5G Broadband, we’re giving those homes a genuinely fast alternative, at great value, with no installation, no waiting and no hassle. As the UK’s largest full fibre provider, we already bring fast, reliable broadband to more homes than anyone else – and by adding 5G Broadband, we can now reach millions more. This launch is about giving customers real choice: full fibre where it’s available, and powerful 5G Broadband where it’s not – plus, better options for anyone wanting speed with ease and flexibility”.

An outdoor hub is also coming soon for homes where the signal is stronger outside.
