We've just seen E.ON Next drop the price of its Next Fixed 24-month tariff, giving households the chance to fix their energy bills right through to 2028.
At £1,598 for a typical dual-fuel home on Direct Debit, the deal undercuts Ofgem's current price cap by £65 and is the lowest 24-month fixed tariff from any of the big six suppliers right now.
