One million drivers on board
Octopus Electroverse has signed up its millionth UK user, covering half of all fully electric cars on British roads. The milestone arrives as one in three new cars registered in June were fully electric.
Single app, huge network
The service gives access to more than 1.5 million public charge points across 40 countries through one app and card. Drivers can tap into nine out of ten public chargers in Europe and more than 200,000 points in North America, the only platform that also works across the Atlantic.
Plunge Pricing and fleet deals
Through 84 Plunge Pricing sessions run so far this year, users have charged at up to 50% off when renewable power is plentiful. Businesses can manage both public and home charging for entire fleets via the Octopus Fleet platform, which already has thousands of companies signed up.
What it means for drivers
Matt Davies, Founder & Director of Octopus Electroverse, said: "Reaching one million drivers is an incredible milestone and shows just how far electric driving has come. Not long ago, charging away from home could feel complicated. Today, hundreds of thousands of charging sessions happen through Electroverse every week, with drivers able to access chargers across the UK, Europe and the US through a single app."
