Pre-order window now open
Sky Mobile has started taking pre-orders for Apple's first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo. The phone goes on sale 23 October, with orders closing at 7:59am on 26 October. It comes in star white or night sky and runs on a 48-month contract from £47 a month plus a £12 upfront fee, with the option to swap after 36 months.
Trade-in and data deals
Customers can knock up to £535 off the price by trading in an eligible device such as an iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB. The 75GB plan drops to £14 a month from the usual £22. Sky VIP customers get up to 50% off selected data, with unlimited plans from £14 a month or £10 a month for long-standing Diamond members. Those Diamond customers also keep their UK allowances in 120 destinations abroad at no extra cost.
How it compares with rivals
Vodafone opened its own iPhone Duo pre-orders earlier this week on its SuperMobile plans. We covered that move here. Sky's offer stands out for the trade-in saving and the Piggybank data rollover that lets you share spare data across up to seven SIMs or swap it for rewards. All other Sky Mobile customers pay £2 a day for roaming in those 120 countries via Roaming Passport Plus.
What you need to know
The network claims 99% 4G coverage and lets you change data plans whenever you like or roll unused data for up to a year. Text PAC to 65075 to switch. Full terms apply and deals are subject to credit checks. Check the latest pricing on Sky's site before you commit.
