More choice on NOW
Sky has launched two new Sky Sports memberships on NOW, giving fans the option to pay only for the sport they want. The Multi-Sport Membership starts at £19.99 a month and covers Formula 1, golf majors, cricket, tennis, darts, rugby and NFL. The Football Membership begins at £23.99 a month and includes more than 1,500 live matches across the Premier League, WSL, EFL and SPFL.
Fans who want the full range can still choose All Sky Sports from £27.99 a month. That is just £4 more than the Football option and £8 more than Multi-Sport. Minimum-term prices apply; flexible monthly rates are higher at £26.99, £30.99 and £34.99 respectively.
What the packages actually deliver
Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, said: “Every sports fan has the moments they can’t wait for, whether it’s kick-off, the first ball of a Test match or a match-winning double in the darts.
“With our new memberships, fans have more choice over the sport they pay for. Football fans can choose Football, and fans of F1, cricket, golf and more can pick Multi-Sport. And those who want everything can still get All Sky Sports. It’s a simpler, more flexible way to get the sport you love on NOW.”
Boost adds Full HD, Dolby Digital 5.1 and two-device streaming for an extra £6 a month. Ultra Boost, available on All Sky Sports and Multi-Sport only, costs £9 extra and supports up to 4K on selected content.
How it compares with Sky’s recent moves
The changes arrive shortly after Sky added League of Ireland coverage to its Glass and Stream devices. LOITV lands on Sky Glass and Sky Stream for Irish football fans shows the company continuing to expand live sports access across its platforms.
