Classic Beach Drama Back on Screens
We're looking forward to the return of Baywatch on Sky and NOW from January 2027. The revival brings 12 new episodes to UK and Irish viewers after the original series ended its 11-season run 25 years ago. The show originally aired from 1989 and reached more than a billion viewers a week at its peak across over 200 countries.
New Cast and Storylines
The new series follows Hobie Buchannon, played by Stephen Amell, now serving as Baywatch Captain in the footsteps of his father Mitch. His daughter Charlie Vale, played by Jessica Belkin, arrives to continue the family tradition. Other cast members include Hassie Harrison as Nat, Shay Mitchell as Trina, and Shay Mitchell as Trina. Recurring roles feature Livvy Dunne making her acting debut and David Chokachi reprising Cody Madison from the original. Erika Eleniak also returns as Shauni McClain for a guest spot.
The production comes from Fremantle and FOX Entertainment with Matt Nix as showrunner. McG directs the first episode.
How to Watch on Sky
The series streams exclusively on Sky and NOW, so existing customers can add it to their package when it launches. Check our TV comparison page to see current Sky deals and whether an upgrade fits your household. No other UK streamer has rights, so this is the only place to catch the new episodes from day one.
