Rule tweaks open up the game
Netflix has released the main trailer for The Devil's Plan: Dead Again, the third season of its Korean brain-survival format. The biggest change is that running out of Pieces no longer means automatic elimination. Instead, every player's fate now hinges solely on match results. That single shift removes the old restrictions on movement between the Living Area and the Prison Area, allowing far more aggressive tactics and alliances.
Veteran line-up raises the tension
Jang Dongmin, the five-time survival-show champion, leads a 16-player roster that mixes returning faces with fresh talent. Hong Jinho, Oh Hyunmin, Ha Seok-jin and Jeong Hyun-gyu are back, while SHINDONG, JAE JAE, Nucksal and Jung Wonyoung add new energy. The trailer already shows players targeting Jang Dongmin and trying to break up the so-called Jang-Oh alliance, setting up the psychological warfare viewers expect.
Premiere date and where to watch
The series lands worldwide on 10 November, exclusively on Netflix. UK viewers can add it to their list now via the TV section on our site. Producer Jung Jong-yeon has described this as his most competitive line-up yet, and the trailer backs that up with rapid cuts of mind games and shifting loyalties.
Who it suits
Fans of strategy-heavy reality shows will find plenty to analyse, especially once the new rules start reshaping how players move around the set. Those who prefer lighter entertainment may find the intense psychological focus a step too far, but the expanded cast and loosened restrictions should keep the action unpredictable from the first episode.
