Faster whole-home coverage arrives
Vodafone has rolled out Pro 4 Broadband, its fastest package yet, offering speeds up to 8Gbps on CityFibre's full-fibre network. The service pairs the new Ultra Hub 7+ tri-band WiFi 7 router with up to three Super WiFi Boosters included at no extra cost. Customers on standard plans pay £32 a month while Vodafone Together customers who bundle mobile lines receive a £4 discount, bringing the price to £28.
Features that tackle real household demands
Smart Modes let users prioritise Work, Gaming or Streaming traffic, while 4G Broadband Back Up switches automatically to Vodafone's mobile network during outages. Secure Net Home adds security and parental controls across 192 devices at no added charge. The provider also plans a Family Dashboard in the My Vodafone app for cross-device controls.
Rob Winterschladen, Consumer Director, VodafoneThree, said “Home broadband has never worked harder. In many homes, one person is streaming, another is gaming, someone else is on a video call and dozens of smart devices are running in the background. Households are asking more of their connectivity than ever before.
“Pro 4 Broadband combines speeds of up to 8Gbps, the fastest broadband available in the UK, with our next-generation Ultra Hub 7+ router to deliver the UK’s fastest whole-home WiFi, giving customers fast, reliable connectivity wherever they are in the home.
“As the UK’s largest full fibre broadband provider, reaching more than 25 million homes and premises, we want more customers to benefit from faster broadband. That’s why we’re making our fastest full fibre speeds available across our broadband plans, while also bringing fibre-like speeds to millions more homes through 5G Broadband.”
How it fits the wider market
This launch builds on Vodafone's earlier 8Gbps trial and comes as rivals push multi-gigabit upgrades. The WiFi Guarantee promises an exit-fee-free exit if coverage blackspots remain after all boosters are installed. Availability is limited to CityFibre areas for now, so check postcode eligibility before committing.
