The Folktale Twist
An old Korean story about a rat that steals clipped fingernails and assumes someone's identity underpins Mousetrap. The teaser shows novelist Moon-jae losing control of his phone, passwords and bank access after a mysterious figure called The Rat appears. Stripped of proof he exists, he must track down the imposter before it is too late.
Cast and Creative Team
Ryu Jun-yeol plays the reclusive Moon-jae. Sul Kyung-gu appears as loan shark Noja and Lee Kyoo-hyung as detective Sun-yong. Director Kim Hong-sun, known for Dear Hongrang and Money Heist: Korea, adapts the webtoon Field Mouse.
