Possible Love arrives on Netflix
Possible Love, Lee Chang-dong’s first film in eight years, reaches UK subscribers on 6 November. The drama, already South Korea’s Oscar entry, follows two couples whose lives intersect while making a documentary. It opens in UK cinemas on 23 October before the global Netflix premiere. Earlier films join the catalogue
Green Fish and Secret Sunshine started streaming in the UK in late August. Peppermint Candy and Oasis arrived in Italy and Spain on 4 September, with Poetry and Burning due in more markets including the UK later this year. Subtitles in up to six languages will be available depending on the territory.
What this means for viewers
The move gives UK audiences easier access to one of Korea’s most awarded filmmakers without needing to hunt down physical releases or festival screenings. Lee’s previous honours include the Silver Lion at Venice and Best Director at the same festival for Oasis. We track similar additions on our TV hub.
