New Horror Drop on Sky
Sky has secured the UK and Ireland rights to Crystal Lake, an eight-part prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise. The full season arrives exclusively on Sky and NOW on 19 October, with every episode available from day one.
What the Story Covers
Linda Cardellini stars as Pam Voorhees, a single mother still grieving the drowning of her son Jason. Two strangers arrive asking questions about her past, triggering a chain of events that unsettles the whole town. The series blends psychological suspense and mystery while expanding the original mythology created by Victor Miller.
Who Else Is Involved
Brad Caleb Kane serves as creator, writer and showrunner. Additional cast members include William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins and Gwendolyn Sundstrom. A24 produces, with executive producers from both the production company and the original rights holders.
How It Fits Your Sky Package
If you already have Sky TV or a NOW subscription, the series appears automatically in your library on the 19th. Viewers without Sky can compare current TV packages to see which option includes both the linear channels and the streaming service. The show is not available on any other UK platform at launch.
